August 22, 2007I am thinking of buying a replacement Ram Air hood for my truck. I have stick on scoops now and they look pretty good and i get compliments on them. The hhod i want is a "keystone goodhood " and i have seen it up close at summit racing in sparks Nevada and they look great. they come in white gel coat and the hoods are completly finished on the inside, they feel a lot more sold than my factory hood. what i want to know is this. does anyone here have one of these hoods and if so, what do you think of it ? are there any noise issues such as wind noise under the hood when going down the hiway OR any kind of unpleasant whistl or roaring coming from under the hood from the wind going into the twin scoops ? here is a picture of the

August 23, 2007you might try asking on chevy truck world, there are a few guys over there that have a similar hood not sure exactly what the name is but i know there are some hoods over there that look close to that
August 24, 2007thanks for the tip, BTW, have you found out what was causing the problem with your truck ?
August 24, 2007its a fuel issue, the truck will start and run for a few seconds but dies as soon as the fuel pump kicks off so i think its a weak fuel pump, which is what my uncle (dodge mechanic) told me all along, we're gonna try that and see if it fixes it
